Terms of service

Last updated October 2026.

Wovn (wovn.org) is operated by Connor Chevli ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

The service

Wovn serves files from a storage bucket you link to your account, at a subdomain you choose. You keep ownership of your files and your bucket. We store your account details, encrypted bucket credentials, and an index of your files' metadata so the service works.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you host, for the bucket credentials you give us, and for every token you create. Do not use Wovn for phishing, malware, content you have no right to distribute, or anything unlawful. We may disable a subdomain that breaks this rule, without notice.

Limits

Each subdomain gets 60 writes a minute, uploads of at most 100 MB, and 100 share emails a day, each to at most 20 addresses. Reads are not limited. We may change these limits to keep the service running for everyone.

Availability and cost

The hosted service is free and provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. Your bucket provider bills you for storage and, on some providers, for egress.

Leaving

Delete your org at any time from settings. Your files stay in your bucket. The subdomain is retired and never reused.
